HS-PC-FIT / Sustained load + room fit
Will this fit
in your room?
Drag the workload sliders, then read the steady-state watts, the BTU/hr cooling load (in tons), the recommended circuit (120 V vs 240 V single-phase with the right breaker), the UPS headroom, and the rack PDU SKU — in one click. Pure client-side math, no backend round-trip.
HS-PC-RUN / Fit
Drag the sliders. Read the row.
The math is hard-coded in the page tier-by-tier, against canonical W1=650 / W2=612 / W4=4800 W wall draw — the same watt row the existing /calculator returns. Two sliders (sustained load % of TDP, ambient room temp) and a tier picker; everything else derives.
Configuration
Your workload's duty cycle, not the GPU's peak. 75 % is a typical training/inference sustained profile; 50 % is a heavier RL or a long fine-tune; 100 % is a worst-case stress test.
Inlet air at the rack. Datacenter cold aisle runs ~18 °C; office spaces run 22-26 °C; anything above 28 °C starts to materially heat-soak the chassis.

HS-PC-METH / Sources
Where each number comes from.
The same three pages the existing /calculator cites back; if you've already read those, you already understand this one.
W1 peak — the only pinned number →
650 W wall draw backs the W1 row: methodology on /benchmarks/rtx-5090#methodology.
W2 — proposed, drafted from catalog →
612 W matches the home-page datasheet peak. Bench-in is on the roadmap; flagged "Proposed · pending" until then.
W4 — proposed, scaled from B200 TGP →
4 × B200 + host + liquid reservoir → 4 800 W peak; idle ~44 %. "Proposed · pending" until the rig is bench-in.
HVAC sizing convention →
1 ton = 12 000 BTU/hr. Output tons rounded to two decimals so the facilities engineer can paste the value directly into cooling-load worksheets.
HS-PC-HANDOFF / Hand-off
Fold it into the quote.
Once facilities has confirmed amps and cooling, the matching tier pre-fills on /quote with the same configuration the calculator just sized — so the sales engineer is already pinning the build to your envelope, not asking you to repeat yourself.
What this calculator pins
- •Tier SKU and the citation for its watt row
- •Sustained load as % of TDP — your workload duty cycle
- •Ambient room temperature that drove the derate
- •Recommended voltage choice (120 V vs 240 V single-phase) and breaker amps
- •UPS kVA under the NEC 1.25× continuous-load rule
- •Pinned PDU SKU (Raritan / Server Technology)
- •Cooling load in BTU/hr and tons, ready to paste into facilities
