AI workstations for research teams

Start with the workload.
Specify the workstation around it.

Helmstone offers pre-configured NVIDIA Blackwell workstations for research labs and universities. Share your model or scientific workload, expected run duration, and deployment needs to request a configuration review.

Workload fit

Give the review team useful context.

The existing quote form captures organization, buyer use case, workload, expected sustained duration, preferred workstation class, deployment and procurement timing, and support or installation needs. Include model size, batch shape, facility constraints, and any on-site service needs that matter to your team. The catalog lists on-site service for specified tiers and priority metros, so include your site location when coverage matters.

A research or university team can use those details to request a configuration review tied to its own workload. The review starts from the selected system and information you provide; it does not assume that every workload or workstation has the same benchmark result.

Thermal validation

Read the method and the current evidence together.

Helmstone documents a 48-hour thermal-soak process and per-unit benchmark records. The published protocol explains the workload, instrumentation, and pass criteria; benchmark pages show status by configuration. The W1 reference is for a single RTX 5090 and should not be treated as validation for another system. Its page may show no promoted canonical run or numeric metrics yet; check the current record for published measurements.

The catalog marks W2 and RS as proposed, and W4 does not yet have a published canonical burn-in. Check the current benchmark status for the configuration you are considering; a documented method alone is not evidence that every proposed tier has completed it.

Clinical imaging research

A supported research buyer category.

Clinical imaging appears as a buyer use case in Helmstone’s workstation request flow. Research teams can describe rendering or imaging workloads, model needs, run duration, and their preferred system for review.

This is a workstation configuration conversation for research workloads. It does not make claims about diagnostic approval, clinical outcomes, regulatory status, or special data-handling guarantees.
